20 years of experience with Client/Server database systems. Started career in the field of AI, creating knowledge-based systems for Telco companies. Participated in defining a new market segment by implementing image-database systems for newspapers, image-bureaus and also IKEA. Later co-founded a software consultant company, General Objects, with Ericsson and IKEA being the largest accounts. Employed as Technical Consultant at Best Buy Inc between 1999 and 2001 with responsibility for the technical infrastructure supporting business critical ERP and CRM systems. Lead the IT-team at wine distributor Commandeur LLC bewteen 2001 and 2003. Defined the e-Commerce strategy for the company’s Internet presence, including a B2B Wine procurement system for buying wine in Europe and selling it to wholesale/retail customers in the US. Next assignment was with Accenture, were leading a capability team, the Best Buy in-store CRM experience was redefined. This system was managing $1.2 Billion in revenue in less than 3 years after inception. Co-founded WineTrack LLC in 2007. As the CTO, submitted 5 patents, hired and coached an agile and highly dedicated development team. Currently works as an independent consultant at Best Buy Inc leading an effort to design and build their Centralized Customer Identity platform (codename Best Buy OpenID). Also launched an iPhone application called iBlueShirt that was later on acquired by Best Buy and merged with their official iPhone application. Has as of late started to tinker on an iPad application to be released later this summer. Holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
